Welcome to Lamberden House Bed & Breakfast and Old Stables Self Catering

About Us

Margie and Julian will enjoy welcoming you warmly to their home. The rooms are all spacious and tastefully furnished with comfort as the first consideration. This oast-barn was converted to residential use over 50 years ago, and lies some 100 metres down a farm track, providing a very tranquil spot. It has ample parking, and the extensive views over the unspoilt countryside are breathtaking. There are plenty of seating areas around the extensive gardens and swimming pool.

Sandhurst, Kent

The location is perfect for exploring the world-famous gardens (Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and Pashley Manor), and the attractive market towns (Tenterden, Cranbrook and ancient cinque port of Rye)- all within 15 minutes drive. In the same range are the castles at Sissinghurst, Bodiam and Scotney, and (a little further afield) Leeds, Ightham Mote and Hever. Similarly, Churchill's Chartwell is only an hour's drive away, as are the cities of Canterbury and Brighton.
Margie and Julian each have a lifelong knowledge of the area, and will be delighted to assist you with any plans.

Old Stables

In addition to forming part of the Bed and Breakfast accommodation, this delightful self-contained annexe to the house has a small kitchen and dining areas, and may be booked for short stays of four days, a week, or any other period by agreement.
